Help

Reach us

Write to email@pictured.pics. A person reads every message. In the app, “Send feedback” on the You tab starts the same email with your version already filled in.

A photo you want gone

  • One you added: open it and tap the bin. It's removed from our storage, not just hidden, and there's a moment to undo.
  • One you're in: open it and choose “I'm in this, please remove it” (in the app it's under •••). The person who added it and the group's owner are asked to take it down, and until they answer it's kept out of recaps.
  • One that shouldn't be here at all: open it and choose “Report this photo” (under ••• in the app). Reports come to us, not to the group, and we answer them within 24 hours.

Someone you'd rather not see

Open one of their photos and choose Block (under ••• in the app). Everything they have added is hidden from you. You can unblock them from the You tab in the app, or from your account page.

Notifications

They're off until you turn them on. The You tab in the app has a switch for each kind, and a group's page has “Notify me about this group” to quiet one group without touching the rest. If nothing arrives at all, check that Pictured is allowed in your phone's Settings, under Notifications.

Signing in

Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a code sent to your email. If you started without an account, your groups and photos only live on that phone: add an account from the You tab and nothing you've added is lost, even if the phone is.

Leaving, and taking your photos with you

  • Download a group: on the website, open the group and choose “Download everything” for a zip of every photo in it.
  • Leave a group: open the group and choose “Leave this group”. What you added stays with your friends unless you delete it first.
  • Delete your account: “Delete my account” on the You tab in the app, or on your account page. Your photos stay in your friends' groups, no longer linked to you, unless you choose to delete them too.
